Terms
Terms of Use
These terms are between you and Aequel. They apply to Spark, Aequel’s product available at spark.gives. By creating an account or using Spark, you agree to them.
Using Spark
You may use Spark for your personal, non-commercial use unless Aequel gives you written permission otherwise. You agree not to misuse the product, attempt to interfere with the platform, scrape protected content at scale, or use Spark in a way that violates applicable law.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. If you think your account has been compromised, contact Aequel as soon as possible so we can help secure it. Sign-up and sign-in for Spark are provided by Clerk, Inc.; use of those authentication features is also subject to Clerk’s terms (see the Privacy section below).
Billing and trials
If Aequel offers a free trial, membership, or paid subscription for Spark, pricing, renewal timing, and cancellation terms will be shown to you before purchase. Unless stated otherwise, paid plans renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel before the next renewal to avoid future charges.
Content and intellectual property
The Spark product, including lessons, visuals, copy, product design, and software, is owned by Aequel or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit, but you give Aequel the rights needed to host, process, and display it as part of operating Spark.
Availability and changes
Aequel may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of Spark from time to time. We try to keep the product available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every feature will always be available.
Termination
Aequel may suspend or terminate your access to Spark if you violate these terms, misuse the product, or create risk for Aequel or other users. You may stop using Spark at any time and can request account deletion where available.
Disclaimers and limits
Spark is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aequel and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
